Digimon Heroes! is an RPG set in the Digimon universe, featuring a unique card-based combat system reminiscent of traditional match-3 games like Bejeweled and Puzzle Quest. The duels in the game are the main focus and provide the most entertainment. Despite its initial complexity, the gameplay is actually quite simple - players must form chains of three cards of the same color from the ten in their hand to launch attacks. Once used, new cards will appear, allowing for continuous attacks with chain formations. In addition to battles, players can customize their team of three Digimon and evolve them using objects collected during missions. Evolution results in increased strength and more powerful attacks, mirroring the progression seen in the anime series. Digimon Heroes! offers excellent graphics and a unique gameplay experience within the popular Digimon franchise.
